ACCOMMODATION FOR ANGLING HOLIDAYS

THE SCORRABRAE INN

Description
Rather like Orkney itself, this 19th century former inn is older than it appears with many layers with room after room. Apart from one twin bedroom upstairs all the rooms are at ground level and include a very large sitting room with its own bar area, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, a games room that can double up as an additional bedroom, a smaller TV room, a boot room, two double rooms, one twin room, one single room, two bathrooms and a shower room. With a private BBQ area and patio, the house enjoys panoramic views over Scapa Flow.

History
The original section of the house dates back to the 18th century, but it is predominantly a 19th century building, with a public house extension added in the late 20th century.
